Designed for those unfamiliar with the tradition, the zine offers an accessible glimpse into the vibrant energy of the Ma Zhu Procession, one of the most popular religious events in the world. During the procession, the ceremonial team carries a shrine through towns, bestowing blessings and good fortune to the locals.

The intended audience includes foreign tourists interested in Taiwan’s traditional culture, as well as locals who may not have had the chance to experience the procession in person. The goal of this project is to celebrate and promote the richness of local heritage while inviting readers to feel a part of this cultural celebration.
